Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Utilizes proper equipment (gurney, wheelchair, Hoyer-Lift, etc.) to safely transport patient.
  • Performs all routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Assigns all patient charges appropriately.
  • Records/reviews all techniques/procedures as required.
  • Clearly marks all radiographs with legally approved lead markers.
  • Marks all CR/DR images with patient position, etc.
  • Ensures all CR/DR images are quality controlled and with correct "S" range.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Completion of radiologic technology training in an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school
  • Medical Radiographer: CA
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR

Preferred

  • Associates Of Science Radiologic Sciences and 1-2 years experience as a radiologic technologist
