About the Role:

The Maintenance position is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facilities and equipment within our organization. The primary goal of this role is to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery and infrastructure. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate, thereby supporting a safe and productive work environment. The Maintenance professional will collaborate closely with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and respond promptly to urgent repair needs. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to operational continuity and cost savings by maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and facility upkeep.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in maintenance work, including mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles or equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, and replacements to prevent equipment failures.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery, HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and other facility components.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations as needed.
