Stratford Villa Post-Acute is proud to be a Five-Star, Medicare-certified, 37-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located near the heart of downtown Livermore. It is part of the Villas Post-Acute and Senior Living community for seniors in the heart of Livermore.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Cook who is skillful in food preparation and who can work in a fast-paced environment with a pleasing personality and the ability to work in a team for our Dietary Department

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences

  • Ensure all food is presented in an appealing manner and meets health and safety standards

  • Assist in menu planning and development to provide a variety of nutritious options

  • Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas

  • Collaborate with dietitians and nursing staff to accommodate special dietary requirements

  • Provide training and support to kitchen staff and support personnel

  • Keep accurate records of food preparation and meal services for compliance and quality assurance

 


Qualification:

  • Previous experience as a Dietary Aide/Kitchen and Cook is a preferred

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or hospitality setting as a dietary aide/kitchen, or cook is a plus

  • Interest in working with the geriatric population

  • Food Handler Certification

  • Ability to prepare meals in accordance with specific dietary restrictions or special needs

  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively

Schedule: Open for one (1) Full-Time split shift (2 days AM, 3 days PM); one (1) Part Time split shift.
