The impact you’ll make

The Business Operations Program/Project Manager strengthens execution across the Global Logistics Organization through disciplined ownership, cross‑functional integration, and problem‑solving. The role provides sustained leadership for enterprise‑critical capabilities, including risk management, business continuity, and change enablement, while reinforcing leadership continuity and succession readiness. Success requires a dependable leader who can navigate ambiguity, meet commitments, and drive alignment and accountability across operations, business management, and enterprise programs within a global environment.

What you’ll do

  • Risk, Business Continuity & Resilience
    • Own logistics business continuity, resilience, and risk management aligned to Lam enterprise standards.
    • Drive global continuity planning, readiness, and recovery execution; identify and mitigate operational risks and single points of failure through cross‑functional partnership.

 

  • Governance & Execution Discipline
    •  Establish governance, operating cadence, and executive reporting to ensure clear ownership, follow‑through, and risk visibility.
    • Serve as a point of accountability during periods of ramp, change, or elevated operational risk.
    • Act as an integrator across Operations, GOps, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and enterprise programs.
    • Lead complex, ambiguous initiatives through influence, alignment, and disciplined execution.
    • Support a broad range of Global Logistics Organization (GLO) business operations initiatives, partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive alignment, execution, and effective project delivery.
    • Cross‑Functional Integration & Problem‑Solving

Who we’re looking for

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in business operations, program, project, and/or product management, operations, or related roles within a global, matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting commitments, driving execution, and solving complex cross‑functional problems.
  • Experience leading enterprise or cross‑organizational initiatives that require influence without direct authority.
  • Strong executive communication, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience operating in large, global, or highly regulated organizations.
  • Exposure to business continuity, risk management, governance, or enterprise change programs; semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
  • Experience working across regions, including Asia, Europe, and North America.
  • Background in environments requiring disciplined execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relevant project management certifications, such as PMP, CAPM, etc.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

 

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $114,000.00 -  $253,000.00.

 

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
