Your Purpose

You will be responsible for developing, expanding and maintaining the credit union’s relationship with members by efficiently processing and collecting and completing loan conditions and providing resulting credit decisions and loan pricing information to members.

 

What You'll DoTo succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform common, uncommon, and complex occurrences of each of the following under general supervision from your manager:

  • Process inbound and outbound mortgage loan-related phone calls from members, co-workers and third-party vendors (appraisal companies, title companies, etc.) on a daily basis.
  • Actively listen to and respond to member, co-worker, and vendor needs while having a courteous and helpful attitude.
  • Support customers and call center, branch and other real estate lending employees by:

o Responding to mortgage lending questions;o Discussing financial and credit data and customer financing objectives;o Advising on mortgage product and pricing options that address the defined financing objectives; ando Evaluating mortgage loan applications and supporting information and documentation (credit reports, appraisals, title reports, etc.) efficiently and providing corresponding loan decisions quickly.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • High School Diploma/GED AND minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar role required.
  • Experience with Calyx Point or similar mortgage loan origination system required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

 

Salary Range: $25.28 - $26.85/hour

OE Federal Credit Union offers competitive compensation.  The offered salary considers experience, education, training, internal peer equity, job location and other business considerations when extending an offer.  The salary outlined is based on working in Livermore, California. The salary range will adjust to the applicant's work location.
