About the Role:

As a Teller, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers at our financial institution, ensuring a positive and efficient banking experience. Your role is critical in processing a variety of financial transactions accurately and securely, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of cash handling procedures and adhering to regulatory compliance standards. Additionally, you will identify customer needs and provide information about bank products and services, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will help foster trust and build lasting relationships with our clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a teller or customer service role within a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with banking software and transaction processing systems.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages to assist diverse customer populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
  • Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and referring customers to appropriate banking personnel when necessary.
  • Promote bank products and services by identifying customer needs and making appropriate recommendations.

Skills:
