Job Summary: Set-up, handle, and maintain CNC machinery: VMC, Digitally Controlled Process Equipment as well as  Drills, Presses and manual shop tools. Attention to detail, material specifications and quantities is required. You must be a reliable, individual with a keen eye for detail and ability to work promptly while ensuring strict standards of safety and quality.Â
CNC Machinist responsibilities
•   Program and Operate CNC machines, part inspection, and general maintenance tasks
•   Control and edit machine settings to fit the requirements of each task
•   Inspect and address  any machine issues during shift
•   Carry out suitable tasks based on production needs
•   Run Test Batches to insure Part Compliance to specification
•   Ensure the safety and cleanliness of machine/work area
•   Provide help to other technicians and material handler as needed
CNC Machinist requirements
•   2 years CNC Programming and Tooling Specifying with Production CNC Equipment, capable of producing high quality parts from print or drawing.
•   GED/High School Diploma
•   Formal CNC Programming and Machinist Technical Training
•   Physical capacity to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
•   Ability to comprehend schematics and technical drawings
•   Strong attention to detail combined with analytical and problems-solving skills
•  Overtime may apply due to the needs of the business
