osition Summary: 
Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.  Provides support and some supervision to regular warehouse associate functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors to ensure employee productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to meet the supervisors' expectations. The warehouse is non-climate-controlled environment with refrigerated and freezer. 
 
Pay: 
$23.17/hr
 
Schedule:
Wednesday - Saturday, 1:00pm - 11:30pm 
Must have flexibility to cover other shifts if needed

Major Responsibilities:  

  • Using various forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. 
  • Executes & provides process & project visibility to Operations Supervisor
  • Train new hires on processes and job duties
  • Expert in warehouse functions
  • Leads & complies with Safety and Well Being efforts on assigned shift
  • Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
  • Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
  • Move materials within the warehouse
  • Communicate with associates from other shifts
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
