Masco CorporationĀ is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to supportĀ US-basedĀ Business Units.Ā Ā This roleĀ is responsible forĀ accurateĀ payroll processing, complianceĀ with federal and state regulations, and continuous improvement.Ā Ā The Payroll Analyst partners closely with HR, HRIS, Finance, and business leaders to deliverĀ a high levelĀ of payrollĀ expertiseĀ and customer service.Ā Ā The ideal candidateĀ demonstratesĀ strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attentionĀ to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.Ā
Ā
KeyĀ Responsibilities:Ā
ProcessĀ weekly and bi-weekly payroll for US business units ensuringĀ accurateĀ hours, earnings,Ā fringesĀ and deductions according to company guidelines.Ā
AssistsĀ with payroll funding,Ā balancing, and reconciliation activities.Ā
Partner with theĀ Tax AccountantĀ onĀ tax research and filings.Ā
Assists with General Ledger entries, reconciliations,Ā and research.Ā
Collaborate with the HRISĀ teamĀ on payroll configuration,Ā testing, implementations, and system upgrades.Ā
Serve as subject matter expert to ensure company compliance withĀ payrollĀ as applicable to withholdings, payment of wages, garnishment, childĀ supportĀ and voluntary deductions.Ā
Collects,Ā coordinatesĀ and enters payroll data andĀ maintainsĀ related payroll records.Ā
Resolve escalated/complex employee issues that require managerial intervention or involve other process areas.Ā
Back up to the payroll team for other pay groups.Ā
Responds to and assembles data as needed for various external audits.Ā
Sets up, processes and responds to child support and wage garnishments.Ā
Responds toĀ verificationsĀ of employment and unemployment notices.Ā
Implement process improvements where opportunities for increasedĀ efficienciesĀ are discovered.Ā
TroubleshootĀ payroll and taxĀ issuesĀ to help find and implement resolutions.Ā
Verify and process employee purchase rebates.Ā
Other tasks/functions/projects as assigned.Ā
QualificationsĀ
Payroll processing experience in a large multi-state, multi-company environment.Ā
Workday experience isĀ required.Ā
Experience with UKG Timekeeping (Kronos Dimensions) preferred.Ā
Canadian Payroll experienceĀ preferred.Ā
Strong Microsoft OfficeĀ skills, particularly Excel, with solidĀ analyticalĀ capability.Ā
Demonstrated problem-solving andĀ critical-thinkingĀ skills.Ā
Excellent communication skills and customer service focus.Ā
Exhibit confidence,Ā energyĀ and enthusiasm.Ā
HighĀ attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced work environment.Ā
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ā
Demonstrated ability toĀ identifyĀ process improvement opportunities and lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives.Ā
MinimumĀ threeĀ yearsā experienceĀ in payroll data processing and analysis.Ā
AssociateāsĀ or applicable college course work preferred.Ā
