Senior Director, Indirect Procurement

Position Summary

Masco is seeking an accomplished and transformational procurement executive to lead its Enterprise Indirect Services Procurement organization. Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, this leader will define and execute the company's indirect sourcing strategy across more than $800 million in annual spend, including Information Technology, Marketing, Professional Services, Corporate Services, and other enterprise categories.

This executive will play a critical role in accelerating Masco's procurement transformation by modernizing sourcing capabilities, strengthening supplier partnerships, driving digital procurement innovation, and delivering sustainable enterprise value. Success in the role requires balancing enterprise-wide leverage with the flexibility needed to support Masco's portfolio of leading brands and business units.

The Senior Director will serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, champion operational excellence, deploy emerging technologies including AI-enabled procurement solutions, and build a high-performing procurement organization that delivers measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute enterprise sourcing strategies across all indirect spend categories, including Information Technology, Marketing, Professional Services, HR, Finance, Legal, Facilities, Travel, and other corporate services.
  • Drive measurable value creation through cost optimization, productivity improvements, supplier innovation, risk mitigation, and working capital initiatives.
  • Lead procurement transformation efforts, including operating model evolution, category management maturity, governance, and process standardization across a decentralized enterprise.
  • Partner closely with executive stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business priorities while balancing enterprise standards with business unit flexibility.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, negotiating complex, high-value agreements that maximize long-term value.
  • Accelerate digital procurement capabilities through implementation and adoption of leading procurement technologies such as SAP Ariba, SAP Catalog Buying, Coupa, and AI-enabled sourcing and analytics tools.
  • Establish data-driven procurement performance metrics and dashboards that improve transparency, accountability, and decision making.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing global procurement organization while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and talent development.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage market intelligence, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to enhance competitive advantage and business performance.
  • Ensure procurement practices support strong governance, compliance, risk management, and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership experience.
  • Significant executive leadership experience at the Senior Director, Vice President, or equivalent level within a Fortune 500 or similarly complex multinational organization.
  • Deep expertise leading indirect procurement across categories including:
    • Information Technology (Software, Hardware, Telecom, Cloud, SaaS)
    • Marketing and Agency Services
    • Professional Services (Consulting, Legal, HR, Financial Services, Contingent Labor)
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise procurement transformation, organizational change, post-merger integration, or large-scale business process redesign.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead across highly matrixed organizations without direct authority.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and analytical acumen with a track record of translating procurement strategies into measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience designing procurement operating models, governance frameworks, and category management capabilities.
  • Proven success negotiating strategic supplier agreements and managing executive-level supplier relationships.
  • Experience implementing and driving adoption of digital procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar enterprise procurement solutions.

Preferred

  • Experience within manufacturing, building products, consumer products, industrial, or related sectors.
  • Global procurement leadership experience across multiple regions.
  • MBA or other advanced business degree.
  • Experience leveraging AI, advanced analytics, automation, and digital procurement technologies to improve sourcing effectiveness and organizational productivity.
