As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with store teams and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, back-of-house areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for suspicious or unusual activity and help to deter theft, vandalism, and other policy violations through high-visibility presence and timely reporting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, and fire or alarm events, and coordinate with local authorities and/or management as needed.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to supervisors and location leadership to support follow-up actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
