Forklift Driver / Packer – 1st Shift
Location: Livonia, MI
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Forklift Driver / Packer to join our team at a busy packing facility in Livonia. This position primarily works on 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Part-time hours may also be available based on business needs.
Responsibilities- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment according to company standards.
- Verify product quantities and inspect items for damage or defects.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Warehouse, packing, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Part-time hours may be available.
- Starting pay: $16.00 per hour
