About the Role

Eden Tech is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Test Technician to support the assembly, testing, and maintenance of our Reverse Osmosis Centrifuge systems. This role is integral to our 2026 pilot program. You will work side by side with engineers to build prototype and pilot units, troubleshoot mechanical and systems issues, and maintain safe operation of high-speed rotating equipment, pressure systems, and fluid handling components.

What You Will Do

  • Assemble and inspect prototype and pilot ROC units following engineering drawings and work instructions.

  • Install mechanical components, route tubing and wiring, and support instrumentation setup.

  • Perform pre-test inspections and document system readiness.

  • Operate and monitor test equipment including pumps, valves, pressure systems, and motors.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, fluid, and electrical issues during testing and field deployment

  • Maintain detailed records of assembly, inspections, anomalies, and test results

  • Support continuous improvement of emerging build and test issues with the engineering team.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on mechanical or systems technician experience

  • A&P certification or equivalent experience with safety-critical mechanical systems strongly preferred

  • Comfortable working with rotating equipment, pressure vessels, pumps, and fluid systems

  • Strong mechanical judgment and disciplined inspection habits

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities shift and problem-solving is constant

Nice to Have

  • Aviation MRO or defense maintenance background

  • Experience with precision assemblies and torque-critical fastener installations

  • Familiarity with data acquisition or instrumentation systems
