Position Overview:
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students during an Extended School Year (ESY) program near Crest Hill, Illinois. This is a short-term, in-person opportunity running from June 8 through July 13, ideal for professionals looking to make an impact over the summer months.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday
8:00 AM 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
Collaborate with therapists, teachers, and staff
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress

Qualifications:

Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active Illinois COTA license
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $40 per hour, based on experience
