Job DetailsJob Location: Lodi, WI - Lodi, WI 53555First-McNess Company is hiring a full-time CDL Truck Driver for our Lodi, WI location.   Local driving routes – home every day.    Starting Pay: $26+ per hour (compensation will be determined by relevant experience and the interview process)   Pay Type: Hourly rate with overtime pay, paid bi-weekly   Core Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (with available overtime as needed)   Start Time Between: 6am - 8am  Work Location: 9077 Schutz Road, Lodi, WI 53555   Benefit Package: We offer a comprehensive benefits program designed to promote health, financial security, and work‑life balance. See our benefits summary below.      POSITION SUMMARY:    The Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers and company locations. This role involves operating a company CDL vehicle, assisting with unloading when required, completing backhauls, and representing the company with professionalism at customer sites. Drivers play a key role in supporting our customers, food safety standards, and overall supply chain operations.      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   Operate company CDL vehicle according to company schedule to deliver products to customers     Report any problems encountered with delivery or customers to Manager or designee, immediately   Complete occasional overnight trips using sleeper berths   Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD)   Load, move, and unload product as required, including use of pallet jacks   Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues using mobile applications   Complete required paperwork, mileage reports, and fuel/receipt documentation   Perform backhauls when required after deliveries   Maintain clean, safe, and orderly equipment and work areas   Follow all DOT regulations and company safety, food safety, and biosecurity procedures   Report vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly   Represent Furst‑McNess with professionalism and strong customer service   Perform other duties as assigned     QUALIFICATIONS:   High school diploma or equivalent   Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record   Strong safety awareness and customer service mindset   Comfortable with mobile technology, ELDs, and routing applications   Ability to read, write, and speak English   Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate equipment issues clearly     Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., and occasionally handle additional feed bags, depending on the truck type     Note: Job responsibilities may change over time based on business needs.     About Furst-McNess Company:    For more than a century, Furst-McNess Company has been a trusted leader in animal nutrition, delivering innovative feed, mineral, and management solutions to livestock producers across the United States.
