Reports To: Chief Compliance Officer/Compliance Manager

Job Summary

The individual in this position performs a variety of functions related to HMDA data information collection and reporting along with consumer loan monitoring activities. They also maintain regulatory Bank compliance training records. Individual must have the ability to learn and apply new information quickly or be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the bank鈥檚 regulatory banking laws & regulations. This individual works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  1. Home Mortgage Disclosure Act - Regulation C
  1. For assigned files, pull file and gather required HMDA data elements
    1. Tag information gathered in file
  2. Geocode addresses from the FFIEC Geocoding System
  3. Enter the HMDA data to the CRA WIZ HMDA Data Software
  4. Validate the accuracy of the data input
  5. Maintain detailed records of all work performed

  1. Help build out the Bank鈥檚 Lending Monitoring Compliance Commercial non-funded applications聽
    1. Ensure all non-funded application data matches the Loan Center log
    2. Validate the accuracy of the draft report
      1. Issue status report to management

  1. Policy Procedure Manuals (PPMs) and Circulars聽
  • Provide back up support on the Bank鈥檚 PPMs and Circulars
  • Issue properly formatted material within expected timeframes
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed.

  1. Recordkeeping & Reporting
  1. Create & maintain all department files (which includes miscellaneous filings)聽
  2. Handle departmental supply inventory
  3. Box up items and place storage label on the box to be sent to storage
  1. Other duties as assigned by Chief Compliance Officer / Compliance Manager

Education & Skills Required聽

Education and Experience

  1. The ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in a professional and effective manner with Bank personnel
  2. The successful completion of at least an Associate of Arts Degree (AA) in business or related focus preferred
