The Manager is responsible for managing a team of 8 to 10 individuals who provide credit and portfolio analysis services to the commercial lending team. The individual in this position is responsible for supervising the daily workflow, branch communication and developing team processes as needed. They must assure that all analysis and underwriting requests are completed accurately and within strict time constraints. The individual must have strong underwriting skills and complete understanding of financial statements. The position requires a significant amount of training and mentoring of junior officers.聽

  • Manages and provides strong leadership to the credit and portfolio analysis team process
  • Underwriting responsibilities include but not limited to:
    • Loan Presentation data set up with preliminary underwriting comments.
    • Moody鈥檚 RiskAnalyst Desktop software spreading system.
    • TaxAnalysis software spreading system.
    • NOI analysis; ie. Collateral Monitoring and Excess Vacancy Worksheet.
    • ACH/RDC renewal processing.
  • Assure that the team is preparing high quality credit presentations with a minimum number of rewrites and conducting accurate credit analysis on a timely basis.
  • Provide superior customer service to all bank staff with no unjustified complaints from internal customers (ie. Branch Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, Loan Center Staff).
  • Complete special projects and handling as required from the field and executive management.

Also required:

  • A four-year college degree is preferred
  • Individual must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a financial institution or related area. Must have at least five year experience in managing people with emphasis in customer service and meeting deadlines. Must be team oriented, facilitate cooperation, and be flexible to changes
  • Working knowledge of banking institution concepts, federal/state regulations, policy and procedures
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and troubleshooting skills required
