Job DetailsJob Location: Lodi, WI - Lodi, WI 53555Furst-McNess Company is looking to add a full-time Utility Maintenance Operator at our Lodi, WI location.   Starting Pay Range: Compensation will be determined by relevant experience and the interview process Pay Type: Hourly rate with overtime pay, paid bi-weekly Work Setting: Onsite, warehouse/production environment with both indoor and outdoor work throughout the year Core Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4pm (with available overtime as needed) Work Location: 9077 Schutz Road, Lodi, WI 53555 Benefit Package: We offer a comprehensive benefits program designed to promote health, financial security, and work‑life balance. See our benefits summary below.   POSITION SUMMARY:  The Utility Maintenance Operator plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position is responsible for facility housekeeping, sanitation, grounds maintenance, waste management, and general operational support. The Utility Maintenance Operator works closely with plant personnel to ensure company standards for safety, cleanliness, quality, and regulatory compliance are consistently met while assisting with various facility and production-related activities as needed.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Perform routine housekeeping and sanitation activities throughout manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, and office areas  Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, snow removal, and general outdoor upkeep  Operate cleaning equipment and tools, such as floor sweepers, pressure washers, and other sanitation equipment  Support facility sanitation programs, waste management processes, and utility-related activities  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements  Assist with loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials and products  Support inventory organization, pallet management, and material handling activities  Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of designated equipment and company vehicles  Complete required documentation and records related to assigned duties  Assist manufacturing, warehouse, and maintenance teams as operational needs require  Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and environmental standards  Performs other duties as assigned    QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or equivalent  Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, general labor, facilities, or related industrial environments is preferred  Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English  Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to workplace safety  Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate equipment issues clearly  Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain required equipment certifications with company support  Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record  Willingness and ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year  Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., work at heights, and perform physical tasks in an industrial environment    About Furst-McNess Company:   For more than a century, Furst‑McNess Company has been a trusted leader in animal nutrition, delivering innovative feed, mineral, and management solutions to livestock producers across the United States.
