ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Analyze credit data and financial information of persons or companies applying for credit to determine risk for the bank
  • Complete loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and submit to loan committees for approval
  • Conduct evaluations and inspections on collateral for existing and potential loans
  • Prepare weekly past due and loan maturing reports
  • Must to able to assist Branch Manager/Senior Lender with recommendations on credit application approval/denial based on research and analysis
  • Must be very familiar with Cache Valley Bank’s credit policy

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Excellent knowledge or corporate financial analyses and risk management practices
  • Understanding of pricing strategies
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Communicate clearly, accurately and cordially through email and telephone
  • Ability to use all related hardware and software applications including spreadsheets
  • Must have problem solving skills
  • Sparak banking system experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented, accurate and efficient
  • Team player who also displays individual initiative
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards as defined by Cache Valley Bank’s vision and values
