Experience in positive behavior supports helpful but not necessary 3) Must be able to provide detailed instructions, teach various skills and concepts, collect data, evaluate needs and skills, and complete written documentation. 4) Must possess the following qualities: self -starter, innovative, open to new ideas, team player, good communication skills with co-workers, families, employers & community professionals. 5) Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs. 6) Must meet all driver eligibility requirements including drug test requirements. 7) Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass the background check annually   TIME REQUIREMENTS Must be able to work from June 1, 2026- August 14, 2026 Full time:          Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 3:15 pm Part time:          Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:45 am to 3:15 pm Part time:          Tuesday, Thursday,       8:45 am to 3:15 pm Other:                  _______________________________________ Requests for schedule changes (i.e. full-time to part-time or vice versa) will only be approved with the semester change (May, August, December) and must be submitted to the Department Head for approval. Schedule changes must meet area staffing needs. ____ Initials                                                                    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES 1. Implement the consumers support strategies and other curriculum in an effective and creative        manner. 2. Responsible for welfare of persons assigned. 3. Completion of all required paperwork and training requirements, i.e. CPR-FA, SOAR, Training     Modules and Driver training. 4. Team Player.   SPECIFIC DUTIES 1. Implement the persons support strategies and other curriculum in an effective and creative         manner. Implement supports as directed in support strategies plan. Assist the person to participate in their chosen goals, activities and community access. Conduct ongoing reviews of the supports provided to the persons assigned and report ideas, progress and concerns to person your supervisor. Support the person towards inclusion and integration into their community consistent with the HCBS settings rule. 2. Responsible for welfare of persons assigned. Be responsible for the supervision of all assigned persons at all times. Be aware of the person’s needs. Follow-up with concerns or recommendations as needed. Assist with the personal needs of the person (e.g. personal hygiene, toileting needs, accidents, etc). Support the client during the lunch hour to assure health and safety Teach eating manners/social skills as appropriate during this time. Assist clients in boarding/exiting the bus at the designated times. Provide supervision until the van aide or driver arrives as applicable. 3. Completion of all required paperwork. Take effective and specific progress notes as specified in the consumers support strategies. Progress notes should be taken immediately after the class or in the event of group activities at the end of the day. Complete incident reports as necessary and forward original document to Coordinator within required time frames. Assist in the completion of assessments as needed. 4. Team Player. Attend staff meetings/trainings as required for the position. All training and modules must be completed and submitted either before or on the due date given. Failure to meet training requirements may result in a work suspension. Initials: _______ Request time off from supervisor via CETC’s Human resource software. In the event of an unscheduled time off, contact your supervisor by 8:15 am on said day. Refer to time off policy. Engage in positive communication and develop a positive and professional working relationship with the clients, parents,employers, other providers, staff, and funding agencies. Driver-eligible staff will drive CETC vans for community activities and will be required to assist in driving CETC vans (some exclusions will apply). No cell phone or ear bud usage of any kind will be permitted while operating any CETC vehicle or personal vehicle while clocked in.                        Initials: ______________ Follow CETC Policies and Procedures and Transportation Policy Assist with cleanup of instructional and work areas.
