Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated Maintenance Department Lead.  This position will be a hands on role, leading our maintenance department. 

As the Maintenance Lead, you should have experience with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You must be organized and committed to meeting safety standards at all times. 

Your primary goal is to ensure our facilities are safe, clean and functional for guests and employees. 

Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision, direction and guidance of the Operations Manager:
    -Implement and oversee day to day operational aspects of facility maintenance including accommodations, grounds, restaurants and guest services.
    -Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and guest safety and satisfaction.
    -Carry out and oversee operational policies and procedures. 
    -Monitor and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the operational processes.
    -Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
    -Respond to after hours calls and ensure prompt response to guest needs and concerns to maintain guest satisfaction.
    -Manage budgets, resources and staff efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in general facility maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electric, HVAC and basic mechanics.
  • Supervisory maintenance or construction management experience preferred.
  • Ability to quickly diagnose the root cause of failures and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with the site staff and internal partners, external vendors, and groups of residents
