Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech)

Sunshine Terrace Foundation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) to join our outpatient therapy team in Logan, Utah. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

Our outpatient clinic provides specialized treatment services including neurological rehabilitation, manual therapy, aquatic therapy, dry needling, balance training, lymphedema treatment, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). PT Techs work closely with patients throughout the course of their therapy experience and play an important role in supporting both clinical and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists during patient treatment sessions

• Prepare and assist patients with therapeutic modalities as directed by therapists

• Monitor patients during exercises and activities to support safety and wellness

• Demonstrate proper use of exercise equipment and prescribed fitness routines

• Maintain and organize therapy documentation and charts

• Assist with front office duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and patient check-in

• Coordinate equipment maintenance and supply needs with clinic leadership

• Serve as a liaison between therapists and other team members

• Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate service to patients and visitors

• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with company policies and HIPAA guidelines

• Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment

• Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced setting

• Customer service experience preferred

• Interest in healthcare, physical therapy, rehabilitation, or fitness is a plus
