Job Description

 

Position Title: Warehouse Quality Associate 

Location: Loganville, Georgia 

Classification: Hourly/non-exempt 

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager 

Date: May 2026


JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Quality Associate is responsible for ensuring that incoming/outgoing products meet established quality standards and are thoroughly inspected and documented. Assists with the flow of goods, materials, information, and documentation to support Tomco2 Systems’ manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain activities. This role demands accurate inventory control, safe material handling, receiving, and shipping of assemblies, components, machined parts while meeting inspection and scheduling requirements. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Warehouse Operations:

  • Assist coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials for production, customer orders and project builds.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse layout for large, technical, and high-value components.

 

Inventory Control:

  • Ensure accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Track specialized refrigeration components, valves, compressors, piping, and assemblies.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP/WMS systems.

 

Quality:

  • Ability to use measuring tools; micrometer, veneer calipers, pin gauges, tape measure, manometer, and other hand or power tools as needed.
  • Requires excellent communication and documentation skills, use of Microsoft programs such as Excell, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow process work instructions, procedures, and customer specifications.


 

E Safety & Compliance:

  • Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies, including material handling and equipment operation.
  • Ensure proper handling of pressurized, heavy, or sensitive equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.

 

 Coordination & Communication:

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, project management, and procurement teams.
  • Support project-specific kitting and staging of materials.
  • KPI tracking: Monitoring and maintaining departmental reporting.
  • Communicate shipping priorities and resolve material discrepancies.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and documentation requirements.


Process Improvement:

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to Supply Chain workflows.
  • Implement lean or 5S practices where applicable.
  • Support system upgrades or process changes related to inventory and logistics.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of warehouse, quality, or logistics experience. 
  • Experience handling technical, industrial, or manufacturing-related materials.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.


Preferred:

  • Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, industrial systems, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems
  • Knowledge of international shipping and export documentation
  • Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement experience


SKILLS & COMPETANCIES:

Required:

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs unassisted. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and operate equipment for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing plant environment
  • Ability to climb ladders and may work on platforms. 
  • May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
