About the Role:

The General Manager will lead and oversee all operational aspects of our retail trade business, ensuring seamless integration of hospitality and food and beverage services to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth through effective project sales and corporate sales strategies while maintaining strict cost control and food cost management. The General Manager will be responsible for the overall financial health of the operation, including P&L management, to maximize profitability and sustainable growth. Leading and developing a high-performing team through effective people management and incentive programs will be essential to foster a motivated and productive workforce. Ultimately, this position demands a strategic leader who can balance operational excellence with customer satisfaction to achieve business objectives in a competitive retail environment across the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a general management role within retail trade or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing P&L and driving sales growth.
  • Strong experience in people management and leading diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost control and food and beverage operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management.
  • Experience with incentive program design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with advanced project sales techniques and corporate sales environments.
  • Certification in hospitality management or retail operations.
  • Experience working in multi-location retail or hospitality businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive project sales and corporate sales growth.
  • Manage daily operations of the retail and hospitality services, ensuring high standards of food and beverage quality and customer service.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and food cost management to optimize profitability and maintain financial targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop staff through effective people management and incentive programs to enhance team performance and retention.
  • Analyze P&L statements regularly to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals and operational execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements within the retail and hospitality environment.

The required skills such as people management and project sales are utilized daily to lead teams effectively and drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives. Cost control and food cost expertise are critical for maintaining budget discipline and ensuring profitability in food and beverage operations.
