LOCATION & WORK PATTERN

This role is a full-time position based in London, OH.Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and basic physical; ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week position are 7am - 3pm, Monday through Friday.

This role exists to support Bodycote's commitment to delivering industry-leading thermal processing and Kolsterising services by preparing, handling, and processing customer products safely and accurately. The position ensures customer specifications are met, customer assets are protected, and production operations run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

· Prepare and process customer work in accordance with production requirements and specifications.

· Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.

· Protect customer assets through careful handling and quality-focused execution.

· Support efficient, productive, and reliable plant operations.

· Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and leaders.

· Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and commitment to continuous improvement.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

· Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment.

· Independently operates, controls and monitors heat treating unit(s) while executing production processes accurately, efficiently, and to quality standards.

· Protect customer assets and ensure products are handled and processed according to customer requirements.

· This position will allow for cross training and development of additional skills

WHAT YOU BRING

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

High standards for everything you do

Enjoyment in figuring out how things work and taking initiative to problem solve

Required Knowledge & Skills:

· Read, write, and communicate in English.

· Minimum 3 years’ experience operating more complex machines or processes in an industrial environment

· Ability to obtain forklift certification.

Preferred: Heat treating experience, forklift experience, lean manufacturing exposure, and/or technical/vocational training.
