Mailroom QC Operator

Location:  Onsite- London, KY

Pay Rate: $18.39/hour, which may be below your state's minimum wage. Please consider this when applying

Employment type: Full-time  

Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM. Some days may be shorter or extended until 4:30 PM.  

 

About this Role

The TPA II Mailroom QC Operator is responsible for supporting daily mailroom operations by sorting, preparing, scanning, classifying, and processing documents accurately and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive document handling tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to following established procedures to ensure documents are processed and transmitted appropriately to clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Sort, prepare, and scan documents daily.
  • Perform repetitive document handling tasks in a fast-paced environment, including removing staples and rubber bands, repairing torn documents, and copying documents.
  • Operate scanning equipment to scan and rescan mail and documents.
  • Follow mailroom procedures to ensure documents are processed accurately and appropriately.
  • Support daily operations by lifting boxes weighing approximately 10–50 lbs. and moving materials using carts.
  • Receive, process, classify, and ensure documents are completed and transmitted to clients.
  • Process outbound correspondence from the client.
  • Process documents received in both electronic and hard copy formats.
  • Classify documents based on contract requirements.
  • Verify data using automated data extraction tools.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including ADR repair, split case, scanning, scan verification, Form ID, and other related tasks.

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Have a High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education
  • Have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
  • Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform repetitive document handling tasks for extended periods of time.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous mailroom and/or data entry experience preferred.
  • Experience operating scanning equipment or working with document imaging systems is a plus.
