Â
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Works from work instructions and uses hand and/or power tools. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.Â

Â
Essential Functions:
Â
• Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.Â
• Assemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements.Â
• Continuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assembly.Â
• Report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and conducts quality inspection at specified intervalsÂ
• Perform accurate data and record keepingÂ
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresÂ
• Apply basic math skills to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance.Â
• Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesivesÂ
• Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional teamworkÂ
• Performs job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies, and proceduresÂ

• Complete basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluating basic pass/fail criteriaÂ

Qualifications:
Â
High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 0-2 years prior experience
Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â
Â
• Demonstrated proficiency at operating 25%-50% of workstations as documented by training recordÂ
• Entry-level soldering with certification, if applicableÂ
• If applicable, IPC J-STD-001 Solder certification required with entry-level solderingÂ
