We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex machinery and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.Â

Essential Functions:
Â
Â
- Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems
- Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions--may work with complex machines or computer systems
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format
- Perform certifications and provide clarifications to Pass/Fail criteria
- Review and address station issues
- Identify and escalate potential part non conformances
- Disposition/Data Correct systems that fail within production
- Identify failure trends and process improvements
- Preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on fixturing and equipment
- Participate in a variety of meetings, committees and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve issues and maintains specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies

Qualifications:

Â

High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 4 years prior experience

·        Highly skilled and experienced senior individual contributor, able to work autonomously under limited supervision and demonstrate strong initiative.
·        Solid station troubleshooting knowledge.
·        Experience identifying opportunities for process, fixture, and work instruction improvements.
·        Effective time management skills to support all work cells across the production line.
·        Able to handle moderately difficult assignments requiring sound judgment and decision-making.
·        Acts as a mentor to lower-level peers and provides guidance on tasks and technical issues.
·        Strong ability to engage with operators and technicians, with effective communication and training skills.
·        Serves as a technical resource for other employees in areas of expertise.
·        Makes recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
·        Able to collaborate effectively with Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Quality Engineering (QE), and Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) to communicate findings and identify improvement opportunities.
·        Able to work with production leadership to identify and address training gaps.
·        Ability to identify and reduce waste using Lean principles, including the 8 Wastes.
