Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating various manual and automated equipment in the production process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Set up machinery for production and ensure all necessary materials are available
  • Operate and monitor production equipment and replenish materials as needed
  • Visually inspect production run and document results
  • Determine and report malfunctions to the appropriate parties
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

 

Job Requirements

 

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years of general work experience required
  • 1+ years of prior warehouse or production experience preferred
  • Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment and/or knowledge of industrial technology a plus
  • Must have the ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
