Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of MES solutions across our manufacturing operations. This role will serve as a key link between production, quality, engineering, and IT teams to ensure efficient execution of manufacturing processes, real-time production visibility, and compliance with operational standards. 

 

Essential Functions: 

 

  • Plan and support the build and modification of mechanical and electronics systems including procurement support, assembly method/work instruction generation, tooling design support, material/process development, facilities/equipment planning, implementation of design changes, and resolution of manufacturing, quality, and reliability issues
  • Design, configure, implement, and support Manufacturing Execution System solutions for production environments
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements
  • Translate production workflows into MES system functionality, including routing, work instructions, data collection, traceability, and reporting
  • Support integration between MES, ERP, test software and other applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug MES-related issues and provide timely resolution to minimize production downtime
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvement

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 4 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Working experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems
