JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our Shipping & Receiving team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate packaging and shipment of finished products, receiving and inspecting inbound freight, managing packaging inventory, and supporting overall order accuracy and quality control. This is a physically active role that requires working with a pallet jack, shrink-wrapping pallets by hand, and keeping pace with a busy production floor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Order Packaging: Inspect and verify parts for accuracy, then package them for outbound shipment to exact customer specifications.
  • Receiving & Inspection: Receive inbound freight, inspect against purchase orders, and process returns accurately.
  • Material Handling: Move materials and pallets using a pallet jack; shrink-wrap multiple pallets by hand daily.
  • Inventory Management: Track packaging material inventory and place restock orders as needed to prevent line stoppages.
  • Carrier & Order Management: Support carrier relations and order management as part of the daily shipping workflow.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties across departments: cross-train and work in areas as assigned, adapting to workload demands and production priorities throughout the facility.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Work Ethic: Strong attendance, punctuality, and initiative - reliability is essential in this role.
  • Organization: Ability to prioritize workflow, manage time effectively, and meet daily productivity requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Capable of confirming part accuracy and performing quality checks before product ships.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative team player who can work with others to hit daily and weekly goals.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is performed in WMS's Londonderry, NH manufacturing facility. The following physical demands are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.; occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs., with team-lift protocols in place for heavier components.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Exposure to moderate-to-loud noise levels - hearing protection required and provided.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, or airborne particles typical of a production floor.
  • All PPE required will be provided by the company.
