JOB TITLE: Inventory Control/ Warehouse Supervisor

 

POSITION REPORTS TO:  Warehouse Manager

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Managing all shipping and receiving activities as well as inventory control.  Maintains physical conditions of warehouse. Completes warehouse operational requirements and maintains warehouse staff jobs by maintain a positive attitude and keeping up to date on trainings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Managing all Shipping and Receiving activities – Item Receipts into ERP System, Quality Check Outgoing Shipments, Coordinating Truck Deliveries and Pickups, etc. 
  • Managing all inventory – Ensuring items are in correct locations, recorded properly into ERP system, Conducting physical counts and reconciling data with ERP System.
    • Staging production work orders to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
    • Monitoring floor stock with shelf life material for production
    • Interfacing with manufacturing personnel and purchasing personnel on material status and production planning issues
    • Entering data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database
    • Closing Production Orders
    • Receiving and issuing finished goods into computer database
    • Troubleshooting quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel
    • Preparing weekly reports for cycle count
    • Participating in yearly physical inventory if applicable
    • Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, ISO 13485 and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
    • Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Foxx Life Sciences
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by creating formal cleaning schedules, creating formal opening/closing schedules, and routine maintenance on all machines, etc.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by training new employees, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to lift to 50 pounds
  • Able to pick and pack products in warehouse
  • Able to work individually or as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Shift is Monday – Friday, 45 Hours per week Minimum (Occasional Weekends as Needed)
