About the Role:
The Goddard School of Littleton, CO is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Room Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team. Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and stimulating classroom environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding schedules, diaper changes, nap times, and developmental milestones
- Communicate openly and consistently with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily progress
- Ensure the infant room meets all health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, nurturing learning community
- Follow Goddard School curriculum frameworks and early childhood best practices
Requirements:
- Experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting preferred
- Meets Colorado state childcare licensing requirements for education and training, PDIS Level II prefered.
- Understanding of infant developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to pass a required background check
