We are seeking a skilled and energetic Vac Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of vac trucks and heavy equipment used in industrial and construction settings. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our operational goals. Duties

Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on vac trucks, including diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and HVAC components.
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
Conduct fabrication tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembly of parts to repair or modify equipment as needed
Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed using computerized maintenance management systems.
Assist with tire service, wheel alignments, air brake systems, and other vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure optimal safety standards.
Use power tools and hand tools proficiently for assembly, disassembly.
Support customer service efforts by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and recommendations
Schedule M-F 8am-5pm

Requirements

At least 2-3 years as a diesel mechanic

no dui in last 7 years

ASE certification preferred
