Dietary Aide

The Beach Post-Acute is a 24-hour 90-bed skilled nursing facility located in Long Beach, CA. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting our staff in serving our patients recover from serious illnesses and rehabilitation services. We are excited to be on the search for a Dietary Aide to join our team! The ideal candidate is available for on-call hours.

Pay Range:

• $17.75/hour

Overview of the Position: 

The Dietary Aide provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed by the Dietary Supervisor or other leadership personnel. 

• Assist in preparing meals in accordance with planned menus on a timely basis.

• Perform timely daily or scheduled cleaning and mopping duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Perform consistent, compliant waste management.

• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas.

• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures in a timely fashion.  Assure that utensils, etc., are readily available for the next meal. 

• Prepare, label and deliver nourishments, etc., as instructed.

Qualifications: 

• At least 18 years of age 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Ability to display compassion and professionalism
