  • The RT will create and implement care plans, evaluate and treat patients with respiratory disorders, and perform diagnostic procedures.
  • This position offers per-diem shifts and a salary range of $33-37 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Candidates must have an active RRT/RCP License in California and experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is strongly preferred.
  • Additional qualifications include BLS/ACLS/CPR certification and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

We are on the search for an RT to join the team! The RT will be responsible for creating and implementing appropriate care plans along with the RT Lead and clinical team.

  • Per-Diem

Pay Range:

  • $33-37/hour Depending on Experience 

Overview of the Position: 

  • The RT will evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. As the RT, you will be assuming primary responsibility for all respiratory care therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedures.
  • Assesses patients and recommends respiratory therapy treatments
  • Plans, prepares and administers treatments including IPPB, aerosol, chest physical therapy,  incentive spirometry, and sputum inductions, in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Performs diagnostic pulmonary and cardiac tests
  • Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory therapy equipment
  • Responds to “code blue” calls and assist by maintaining the patient’s airway and performs CPR
  • Patient care documentation is timely, legible, and efficient.

Qualifications:

  • RRT/RCP License active in CA 
  • Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred 
  • BLS/ACLS/CPR
