Our 92-unit apartment community in Long Branch, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in their work, and is committed to maintaining apartment homes and community standards at the highest level. This role partners closely with the onsite maintenance team to ensure service requests, preventative maintenance, and apartment turns are completed efficiently while maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the community. As the Maintenance Service Technician, you will help to:
- Troubleshoot and complete repairs including plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, basic electrical work, and preventative maintenance.
- Complete apartment turns including touch-up painting, drywall repair, caulking, and general punch work.
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests and work orders.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, trash removal, and maintaining clean common areas and breezeways.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates.
Compensation & Incentives:
- Base Pay: $19.00 – $21.00/ hr
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
- On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Paid rotating on-call participation required
- Must be available and prepared for emergency events
- Schedule subject to change based on business needs
What We’ll Expect From You:
- Active, valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
