Description:

Birch Agency is seeking Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team and work in the Long Valley, NJ area. As a teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of our students. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging lesson plans, providing instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment. If you have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and instructional design, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

  • Provide instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth

  • Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve instructional materials

  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment

  • Provide guidance and support to students, acting as a mentor and role model

Qualifications:

  • NJ Teacher of the Visually Impaired Certified
