Summary

This is a critical new role that is pivotal to Stored Energy Systems’ growth strategy. The selected individual will be responsible for the development of North American and European markets, including demand generation, customer development, and establishing a partner ecosystem for sales and delivery of SENS products.   SENS launched a disruptive, market changing product called the SuperTorque 8Z, engine starting system in 2022 which has been very favorably received by the data center and hyperscale community at whom it is aimed.  This position has been created to accelerate sales and hyper growth of the SuperTorque product line as well as other strategic growth products in our portfolio.


Responsibilities

  • Develop partnerships with targeted companies throughout North America and Europe to help accelerate the sale and successful delivery of SENS products
  • Co-establish critical KPIs for successful market penetration, build a high-level plan to achieve the KPIs and execute the plan with the support of SENS teammates.
  • Become an expert on SENS key growth products and respective value propositions and differentiators.
  • Be able to effectively and persuasively present SENS’ story and solutions.
  • Support Partner Sales efforts to hit all Own partner enablement which will include training 
  • Manage partner relationships and performance metrics 
  • Maintain an active presence on social media and leverage digital resources, our own authored and 3rd party authored thought leadership pieces to grab attention and gain mindshare
  • Develop and maintain most wanted customer targets list, which will be supported by SENS marketing.
  • Work in partnership with US counterparts to manage international relationships for key data center, hyperscale and OEM customer relationships.
  • Set annual objectives and consistently deliver beyond expectations.
  • Maintain a consistent and professional cadence of follow up with all prospects and on all leads, whether scorching hot or lukewarm. 
  • Be able to masterfully perform technology briefings (lunch & learns for example) and make product presentations to prospective customers, and other ecosystem influencers
  • Maintain regular cadence of progress reports and updates to leadership leveraging our Hubspot CRM
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills

  • Highly customer focused, organized and credible persuader
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Positive, professional, upbeat, and energetic with can-do attitude
  • Ability to use time effectively, prioritize, pay attention to details, and can multi-task.
  • Team player
  • Brings an Action oriented, no excuses, I’ll figure it out attitude to everything
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Business-level English skills

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a business or technical discipline)
  • 10+ years of successful technical indirect and/or direct sales experience 
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in the data center, power & power continuity space
  • Understanding of engineering (electrical/electronic) principles as related to products
  • Functional Hubspot or other CRM user acumen required.
  • Demonstrable experience/ability working independently with little supervision.
  • Experience developing European markets leveraging channels.


Work Environment/ Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Capable of multi-tasking. Capable and willing to travel a minimum of 50%. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. 


Location: This position can be located on-site in Longmont, CO. We will consider candidates from other locations, if they are willing to come on-site to Longmont occasionally.

Closing Date: January 31st. While we expect to keep the position open through this date, the posting may be extended or closed early based on applicant volume and hiring needs.

Compensation: $100,000 - $180,000 is the projected range of annual base salary for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience. $40,000-$75,000 On Target Commision based on candidate experience and performance.
