Your role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain the physical integrity of the community by ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff maintenance responsibilities.

What you will do:

  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on all units and equipment
  • Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice  versa) as circumstances warrant
  • Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services of apartments after move out
  • Use expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials
  • Create and assist with work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
  • Schedule vendors and contractors/responsible for curb appeal
  • Ensure all amenities and grounds are finished and ready for review
  • Walk move-outs to assess damages/issues and reports results to the Maintenance Supervisor

What you will bring:

  • Two or more years of experience in related field
  • EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Works as part of a team, as well as completes assignments independently
  • Ability to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipment
  • Must be able to take calls for emergency requests
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and daily transportation for getting supplies and other duties
  • May need to  drive a golf cart
  • Company provided uniforms

Starting pay is $28 per hour.
