Responsibilities/Qualifications

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong software engineering experience and a background in building scalable, high‑quality systems. This role emphasizes hands‑on development, automation, and reliability, with opportunities to contribute to test automation and efficiency improvements across the development lifecycle.

You will work closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, Product, and System Implementation teams to design, build, and support robust solutions while promoting engineering best practices.

Experience with automation testing or using automation techniques (including optional AI‑assisted tools) to improve development efficiency is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Automation

  • Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable software solutions across services, APIs, and supporting components.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Build and support automation solutions that improve software quality, reliability, and delivery speed.
  • Integrate automated validation and checks into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable feedback.
  • Contribute to improving development standards, automation coverage, and overall system reliability.

Quality & Engineering Excellence

  • Collaborate closely with engineers to improve code quality, testability, observability, and resilience.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, offering constructive feedback and technical guidance.
  • Help define best practices for development, automation, and tooling across teams.

Automation & Tooling Experience

  • Experience using automation to improve development workflows, quality checks, or release confidence.
  • Comfort evaluating and adopting tools that increase engineering efficiency.
  • Some experience using AI‑assisted developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to support development or automation efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in professional software development.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks or tools used for testing, validation, or workflow automation (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, pytest, REST‑assured, Criterion).
  • Programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
  • Experience building and maintaining backend services, APIs, or distributed systems.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of modern software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Experience using AI‑assisted developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to support development or automation efforts.

Nice to Have Qualifications

  • Familiarity with software development frameworks (e.g., .NET, React, Angular, Spring Boot).
  • Exposure to databases and data access patterns (SQL, NoSQL, MySQL).
  • Exposure to performance, security, or reliability engineering.
  • Experience working in Linux‑based environments.
  • Background or exposure to telecom or protocol‑based systems (SIP, TCAP, SMPP, TCP/SCTP/Diameter).

The starting salary is anticipated between $115,000 and $145,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
