Ensure compatibility of SSD products across various systems, OS, hardware and feature sets. Oversee test execution, data analytics, debugging and triaging. Test Design for firmware implemented SSD features. Automate development of test plans using Python framework and libraries. Explore and recommend improvements to SSD validation, including test coverage plans, validation strategies, and validation processes. Collaborate with process owners, firmware developers, and validation engineers to identify valuable improvements to products and processes. Report and monitor test results for various product families to qualify for release. Serve as the subject matter expert for validation on customer test requirements, associated industry certifications and results. Review and challenge current test plans, coverage, and testing activities to drive both increased effectiveness and efficiencies across the product portfolio. Recommend and implement new validation approaches that drive better coverage, more accurate testing, and expanded testing services. Utilize technical, project, and delegation experience to actively lead product test cycles. Develop Validation Strategy, definition of test cases to verify functional and non-functional requirements are in compliance with system requirements. Work with product design for test cases developing coherently with FW and HW architecture. Identify PASS/FAIL criteria for test cases in terms of number of cycles, statistical and temperature. Enable shift-left efforts to move detection of failures from customer tests to internal-developed and maintained test frameworks.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.

Position requires:
1. Enterprise SATA & PCIe SSDs, NAND, memory storage hierarchy and enterprise storage.
2. FW code analyze complex firmware, software (Windows & Linux), and hardware issues in system with ASIC/ FPGA design and FPGA design tools.
3. Embedded C and Object-Oriented Programming language;
4. Data Analytics;
5. Linux and Windows OS;
6. SSD triaging, and JIRA
