Vitesse Systems is looking for a Test Technician II to join the team in Longmont, Colorado! The Test Technician is responsible for ensuring customer requirements are met over a series of RF, vibration, and thermal tests per all internal and external requirements.

The Role
The primary responsibility of the Test Technician is to perform various RF bench, radiation pattern, thermal cycling, vibration, and passive intermodulation tests on spaceflight components per internal documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Radio Frequency Bench, Radiation Patterns, Thermal Cycling, Vibration, and Passive Intermodulation on Spaceflight components in accordance with test procedures
- Prepare test reports
- Assembly critical spaceflight hardware
- Participate in continuous process improvement activities
- Clean and maintain test areas and equipment such as: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Thermal Chambers
- Equipment Calibration
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of related experience required, specifically:
- Technical troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of RF fundamentals and theory.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Proficiency reading schematics, drawings, and/or blueprints required.
- Ability to complete technical writing tasks, including maintaining accurate records and logs.
- Ability to identify discrepancies within testing.
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, and/or blueprints.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Willingness to learn and apply fundamental RF theories.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong sense of time management.
- Results and solutions oriented.
- Familiarity with RF measurement equipment and techniques preferred
- Knowledge of communication systems and RF/microwave components preferred
- Experience with testing military, spaceflight, and/or aerospace components preferred
- Familiarity with Excel preferred
