1st Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:30pm and Friday 6:00am – 10:00am


Summary

We are looking for a Production Operator I to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for assembling products and ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure that all products are assembled efficiently and effectively. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Assemble products according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Inspect and test components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, providing solutions to improve processes and product quality. 
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine assembly procedures and implement best practices. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow all safety protocols and company policies. 
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and product quality.


Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Comfortable using power tools and operating machines. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work collaboratively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach, demonstrating initiative in daily tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a mechanical assembly role.
  • Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
  • Experience following 5S methodology.
  • Strong understanding of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements 

The position is based in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to stand for approximately 80% of their shift, walk approximately 20% of their shift, and carry 60-80 lbs. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to push/pull up to 1000 lbs. on a pallet jack or cart as required.


Closing Date: June 30th. While we anticipate keeping this position open through this date, the posting may be extended or closed earlier depending on applicant volume and hiring needs.


Base Compensation: The base pay for this role is $22.50 an hour.


Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
