ROLE SUMMARY
The Crew Leader is responsible for leading and managing commercial landscape maintenance crews while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to PureGreen quality standards. This position plays a key role in overseeing daily operations, maintaining customer satisfaction, and developing crew members in the field.
This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, landscaping experience, and the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Crew Leadership & Operations
•  Oversee day-to-day operations of the landscape maintenance crew including scheduling, routing, and workflow
•  Lead and motivate crew members to complete work safely and efficiently
•  Ensure all work meets PureGreen quality standards and customer expectations
•  Train crew members on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and jobsite expectations
•  Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures
Property Quality & Client Service
•  Conduct routine property inspections to ensure high-quality landscape maintenance services
•  Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and respond professionally to requests or concerns
•  Identify opportunities for additional services and communicate them to management or sales teams
•  Maintain professionalism while representing PureGreen on all job sites
Equipment & Inventory Management
•  Ensure trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment are maintained and operated properly
•  Monitor inventory levels of materials, equipment, and supplies
•  Coordinate equipment needs and repairs with management as needed
Teamwork & Communication
•  Communicate effectively with Field Managers, Account Managers, and other team members
•  Maintain organization and efficiency throughout daily operations
•  Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
•  3–5 years of commercial landscaping experience preferred
•  1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
•  Knowledge of horticultural practices including pruning, fertilization, plant care, and pest management
•  Strong organizational and communication skills
•  Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining safety and productivity
•  Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
•  Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
•  Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•  Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
•  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
•  Ability to perform physical labor including bending, kneeling, lifting, and reaching throughout the workday

Competitive hourly pay based on experience
$19.00 – $24.00 per hour
