Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Authorization in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Security Experience:
- Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should be clearly outlined in your resume and cover letter.
Valid Driver's License:
- Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license in the job state (C124). Please include a copy of your driver’s license with your application materials.
Computer and Tablet Proficiency:
- Candidates should be comfortable using computers or tablets (B204). Proficiency in basic software applications and communication tools is required. Please provide examples of your experience with technology in your application.
Customer Service Experience:
- A background in customer service (B219) is essential for this role. Candidates should highlight any relevant experience in their resumes and be prepared to discuss this during the interview process.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access materials as authorized, and reporting access concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-control records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
