Job DetailsJob Location: BOSS Longview - Longview, TX 75603Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolPerform various inspections (FHWA and company required), preventive maintenance and repairs to BHH fleet of owned, leased, rented, trucks, trailers, forklifts, auxiliary power motors and other support equipment as directed by Supervisor. Complete required paperwork and computer work for documentation, and submit them. Responsibilities: Conduct physical repairs on company equipment. Ability to complete those repairs in an above average fashion (time, quality and Safely) with no assistance and minimal supervision. To Include Satellite tracking systems installation and repairs as directed. Ability to understand and operate various company equipment, with verbal instructions being provided. (i.e., forklifts, tractors, trailers, and select trailer operating components). Ability to safely and effectively preform basic welding, cutting, grinding repairs. Be knowledgeable with FMCSA DOT standards for the various types of equipment. Use shop computer systems (TMT&TMS) for work order repair order completion, repair activity, time charge, parts Inventory and charges and general shop production tracking and or report completing. Assist other team members when asked or directed by supervisors and Managers in a friendly and cooperative manner. Complete daily yard checks as needed. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to work in a outdoor environment in various climates 2-5 Years of fleet maintenance & repair experience. High School or Equivalent
