Nurse Practitioner (sign on bonus)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dedicated team. Under physician supervision, the PNP will provide comprehensive primary care services, with a strong focus on wellness and preventive care. The ideal candidate is passionate about pediatrics and committed to delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services including examinations, screenings, and treatments.
  

• Prescribe and administer medications and therapeutic procedures.
  

• Conduct well-child visits, physical exams, and developmental screenings.
  

• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses under physician guidance.
  

• Order, perform, and interpret routine lab tests and diagnostics.
  

• Educate and counsel patients and families on health, development, and lifestyle.
  

• Document care thoroughly and accurately in medical records.
  

• Collaborate with physicians and consult specialists as needed.
  

• Triage patient concerns via phone and provide timely recommendations.
  

• Support continuity of care and follow-up for ongoing conditions.
  

• Maintain professional standards, participate in staff meetings, and engage in continuing education.
  

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing with Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification
  

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Florida
  

• Eligible for professional liability insurance
  

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  

• Experience in pediatrics or family practice preferred
