Position Summary
Sets up the dining room and assists residents with food service. Washes dishes, pots, and pans. Takes out garbage. Keeps kitchen clean and sanitary.

Sets up the dining room and assists residents with food service. Washes dishes, pots, and pans. Takes out garbage. Keeps kitchen clean and sanitary.
Essential Duties
- Washes and stacks dishes, pots, and pans.
- Keeps the dishwasher, dishwashing area, pot and pan area, and dumpster area clean.
- Sweeps and mops the floor daily.
- Assists cooks and CNAs as needed.
- Cleans and folds linen napkins for every meal.
- Makes sure that there are centerpieces on the tables.
- Presents a clean and neat appearance, wearing aprons, hairnets, and other protective clothing as necessary.
Physical Demands
- This position is classified as Heavy, requiring exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift/move objects.
- Constant standing and walking, frequently lifting and carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, turning, and stretching.
- Visual and hearing acuity essentials.
- Ability to remain calm under stress.
