• Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Location: Chattanooga, TN 37341

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team in Chattanooga. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and upkeep of our facility during daytime hours. The ideal candidate has prior commercial cleaning experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain facility cleanliness by performing general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and pulling trash.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and locker room facilities throughout the shift.
• Monitor, organize, and put away incoming janitorial supplies.
• Respond promptly to spills or urgent cleaning requests from management.
• Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
• Experience: 1 year of professional cleaning or janitorial experience (Required).
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent time-management skills.
